Gayà: "If we want to win away games, we have to be stronger"
José Luis Gayà was critical of the mistakes made against Celta Vigo, as he spoke to the media after a 2-1 away defeat on Matchday 2.
"In the end it's a little like the game against Levante UD: We had a first half in which the opposition created chances easily. We had already spoken about this and the coach had spoken to us about it as well; if we want to win games away from home, we have to be stronger on these kinds of moves," he told VCF Media.

"Nolito got past three or four players, and that can't happen. We have to cut that move out earlier, because they have quality and play through some good passes, getting behind us too easily. We have to correct that now. These types of mistakes cost us a defeat today."
"In the end, away from home we aren't competing the way we would like. We are being beaten very easily in some duels, which is what we have to improve and change right now, because even though the LaLiga season has just begun away from home, we have a dynamic away from home in recent years that is very bad. We have to improve that. At home we always compete, but away... even though we try, it's a problem."
Gayà promised an improved showing on Matchday 3, when Valencia CF play Huesca at Mestalla.
"This is just beginning, and now we will focus on taking the three points next week and claiming 6 from 9, which is the objective."
